The Gord inspires me, linkage- http://www.actsofgord.com/In other news, I have found a new favorite sandwich! Yes, Tomatoes, cheese (of any real variety) Roast beef, dill pickles, dijon mustard and onions. This time I skipped on the dash of "immortal soul". I saw a fox, yes, in Baton Rouge. (There are wild animals other than the cajuns) In conclusion,Love the Gord, Fear the Gord. - SFC

As some of you may know, I live in Louisiana, Baton Rouge to be specific. But I did not grow up in Louisiana, I grew up in New York, that's right, I'm a native yankee :P I grew up in the finger lakes region, located in central western NY, sometimes called "upstate NY". In 2006 I moved out of my parents home, and moved to Louisiana to live with my best friend, whom is native to Baton Rouge. Since I moved south I have come to love and adore Louisiana, it is a beautiful state with that southern hospitality feel. And an unfortunately high crime rate, as it contains three of the most dangerous cities in the USA... whoopee (They are, New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lake Charles if you were wondering) As much as I love it down here in cajun country, I can't help but to miss ol' New York sometimes. New York is filled with farms and lovely lakes, vast woodlands and even mountains! Not to mention my deeply planted roots in the country side of western NY. These states are vastly different, from nature to politics, economy to accents, but both are a sight to see, and both hold a place in my heart. I'm planning a trip up to NY to see my family next year, sometime after MFM '08. I look forward to seeing all those hills, lakes and farms again! I'm not sure where I am going with this exactly, I guess I just felt like talking about it. :3

The eighties and nineties moved so fast, between 1980 and 1999, everything changed drastically, computers, cars, cartoons, clothes, music, video games... everything evolved so quick! Those decades accomplished more than an entire century before them did. And I miss them... What little of the eighties I can actually recall (I wish I was at least five years older than I am) had some cool shit. I remember mostly the nineties (although I seem to recall things that existed in the early eighties, even though I didn't exist until the late eighties... weird) I grew up in the nineties, and I am very emotional about childhood memories, including mostly video games and cartoons. I never thought I'd get choked up on memories brought back by the original Poke' mon theme! I'm odd. I look on youtube and watch compilations of old eighties and nineties cartoon openings, and floods of memories, sometimes obscure ones, come to me. It's a strange feeling. I am part of a strange age group, I belong to two different generations of games and cartoons, and as a result, get to feel old early. I'm rambling...
